An Imperial Seal Sculpture Resting upon a Tortoise-shaped Pedestal

This work is an archive sculpture by NASCHENKA, reconstructed based on the structural principles of the Imperial seals from the era of Emperor Gojong.

Crafted in silver and copper, the copper seal version carries substantial physical weight, designed not as a decorative object but as a sculptural presence.

The turtle base is hand-carved in full relief. The depth of the surface, tension of lines, and finishing density require a level of time and craftsmanship impossible to replicate by machine.

Each piece is produced in extremely limited quantity or as a one-of-a-kind work. It is not repeat-produced at identical quality.

The value reflects historical research, sculptural design, hand-finishing, and rarity — not merely material cost.
